A household lets you and your partner share children, items, and the shopping list.
What this does
- Sends an email invite to anyone you choose.
- Lets them join your household with their own account.
- Shares children, items, calendar, and shopping list across the household.
When to use this
- "My partner needs to see this too."
- "Grandma helps with after-school — can she see the schedule?"
- "We're a co-parenting household across two homes."
How it works
- Open Settings → Household.
- Tap Invite member.
- Enter their email address and choose a role (Member or Admin).
- Tap Send invite.
- They receive an email with a link. They sign in or sign up to accept.
Important things to know
- Invited people see the same household data (children, items, list, calendar) — visibility is controlled by who has accepted.
- You can revoke a pending invite anytime.
- Roles control what they can do — see Roles and Permissions.
Common questions
- What if they didn't get the email? Check pending invites in Settings → Household and tap Resend.
- Can a person be in more than one household? That's coming. For now, plan around one household per person.
- Can grandparents join? Yes — anyone with an email address can be invited.
