Snap a flyer, term planner, or invitation — Bubsby reads the text for you.
What this does
- Reads typed and printed text from photos and PDFs.
- Spots dates and pulls them out as suggested events or tasks.
- Splits multi-date documents (school calendars, sports schedules) into one item per date so you can pick what to keep.
When to use this
- A paper note from school comes home.
- A poster for a community event.
- A term planner email arrives as a PDF attachment.
- A screenshot of a group chat with a date in it.
How it works
- Tap + → Photo (or share a photo into Bubsby from your phone's gallery).
- Take the photo or pick the file. PDFs work too.
- Bubsby reads the text — you'll see a small "Reading document..." progress ring.
- For single-date documents: the text fills the review screen. Confirm or edit.
- For multi-date documents: the document review screen opens. Tap each date to add it, mark as reference, or dismiss.
Important things to know
- Maximum file size is 10 MB. Photos and PDFs both work.
- The clearer the photo, the better the read — flat, well-lit, no fingers on the page.
- Nothing is saved until you confirm. You can dismiss any extracted date you don't want.
Common questions
- Will it read handwriting? Sometimes. Print is more reliable than cursive.
- Where do dismissed dates go? Nowhere — they aren't saved.
