There are five ways to get information into Bubsby. Use whichever fits the moment.
What this does
- Lets you offload thoughts the second they arrive — typing, talking, snapping, pasting, or forwarding.
- Sends everything through the same review screen, so the experience is consistent.
- Keeps you in control: nothing is saved until you confirm.
When to use this
- "I'm in the school carpark and need to remember three things."
- "There's a permission slip on the kitchen bench I'll lose by Friday."
- "The class teacher just emailed about an excursion."
How it works
- Tap the + button (the floating button on most screens) or open Add.
- Choose your method:
- Type — plain text, write naturally.
- Voice — hold the mic and speak.
- Photo — snap a flyer, schedule, or note.
- Email — forward to your Bubsby address (set up once).
- Share — share from any other app on your phone.
- Bubsby reads what you sent and shows the review screen.
- Confirm or edit, then save.
Important things to know
- Voice and photos don't go anywhere until you tap save.
- Multi-date documents (school calendars, term planners) open a special screen so you pick which dates to keep.
- Forwarded emails wait in your Emails inbox for review — they never auto-create items.
Common questions
- Can I paste from my notes app? Yes. Use Type and paste in.
- What about screenshots? Use Photo — text in screenshots gets read automatically.
