Two settings that quietly shape how Bubsby handles your dates and learning.
What this does
- Timezone — sets which time zone reminders fire in and dates display in.
- Automations — controls how Bubsby learns from your patterns and corrections.
When to use this
- Travelling across time zones.
- Moving to a new region.
- You want Bubsby to suggest more (or less) based on your behaviour.
How it works
Timezone
- Open Settings → Timezone.
- Pick from the list (US, Australian, and other common zones).
- Save. Existing reminders are interpreted in the new zone.
Automations
- Open Settings → Automations.
- Adjust how often Bubsby surfaces suggestions (more / fewer).
- Behaviour Memory shows what's been learned and lets you reset patterns.
Important things to know
- Reminder times are stored against the zone they were set in. Changing zones doesn't shift past reminders.
- Behaviour memory only learns patterns — it doesn't share them outside your account.
- Resetting behaviour memory wipes learned patterns; you can do this anytime.
Common questions
- What if my zone isn't in the list? Bubsby uses your device timezone as a fallback.
- Will turning off automations break anything? No — items, reminders, and shared lists work the same. You'll just see fewer "smart suggestions".
