The small coloured badge next to AI-suggested fields tells you how sure Bubsby is.
What this does
- Shows a confidence score from very low to high on each suggested field.
- Uses colour and a short label — green to red.
- Helps you decide where to look more carefully.
When to use this
- On the review screen after a capture or email.
- On any item card with the Why am I seeing this? expander open.

Important things to know
- Even high confidence isn't certainty — always trust your read.
- Confidence applies field by field. The date might be high while the child is low.
- Lower confidence usually means the source was vague (no clear child name, ambiguous date, unusual phrasing).
Common questions
- Why is the badge red? Probably because the source didn't clearly mention what Bubsby was looking for.
- Will fixing it improve future suggestions? Some patterns yes — corrections feed into Bubsby's behaviour memory.
