What this does
- Holds the household's shopping list — everyone in the household sees the same one.
- Updates in real time so a partner adding "milk" shows on your phone immediately.
- Lets you add by typing or voice, with confirmation when it parses your words.
When to use this
- Anytime you'd otherwise text "can you grab milk".
- During the week as you notice you're running low.
- At the supermarket, ticking items off as you go.
How it works
- Tap Shopping in the bottom navigation.
- Add items by typing, or hold the mic to speak (e.g. "two litres of milk, brown bread, eggs").
- If the parser breaks your words into separate items, you'll see them in a quick review — confirm to add.
- Tick items as you shop. Group by category, store, or recipe.
- Show or hide completed items.
Important things to know
- Both you and your partner can edit at the same time — changes merge.
- A small indicator shows how many household members are looking at the list right now.
- If you're offline, your changes queue and sync when you reconnect.
- Some shopping features are part of paid plans.

- What if I add something twice? Bubsby usually spots duplicates and merges them.
- Can I clear all completed items at once? Yes — there's a "Clear completed" action.
