For staples you re-buy and ingredients you've cooked before.
What this does
- Pantry mode — a separate view of household staples (milk, bread, nappies) you re-buy regularly.
- Smart suggestions — surfaces things you've added to your list before, so you don't have to retype.
When to use this
- The weekly shop, where staples don't change much.
- Cooking a dish you've made before and want the ingredients quickly.
How it works
Pantry mode
- Open Shopping.
- Switch to Pantry mode.
- Mark items as low — they go onto the active shopping list automatically.
Suggestions
- As you type, Bubsby shows things you've added before.
- Tap to add. Faster than typing each one.
- Suggestions also surface ingredients from recipes you've cooked.
Important things to know
- Pantry mode and the active list are linked — marking pantry items as low adds them.
- Suggestions are based on your own history, not other households.
- Some features may be on paid plans.
Common questions
- Will it suggest things my partner added? Yes — household history is shared.
- Can I turn off suggestions? They appear inline as you type. Just keep typing past them if you don't want them.
