Bubsby softens older items instead of nagging you about them.
What this does
- Visually quiets items that have been overdue for a while, so they don't shout from your Today tab.
- Folds them into an "Older items" group at the bottom of Today.
- Offers a gentle check-in every couple of weeks asking what you'd like to do with them.
When to use this
- You've had a busy stretch and a few things slipped.
- You want to clear out without guilt.
How it works
- Items that are overdue and untouched gradually fade in visual weight as time passes.
- After about two weeks overdue, they fold under Older items at the bottom of Today.
- Roughly every two weeks, a small check-in card appears at the top of Today inviting you to review them.
- For each item you can: Reschedule to a new date, Snooze for later, or Let go (it moves to Archive).
Important things to know
- "Let go" isn't delete — it's a soft archive, restorable anytime.
- The check-in only appears when stale items exist.
- Tap Not now and it pauses for two more weeks.
- After about a month overdue, age text softens from "X days past due" to "From [Month]".
Common questions
- Can I turn the check-in off permanently? No — dismissing pauses it two weeks at a time, by design.
- Let go of something by mistake? Open Archive and restore it.
