Both live in the calmer "head space" of Bubsby. They behave differently on purpose.

What this does

  • Tasks are things to do. They can have a date and a reminder.
  • Notes are reference info — quotes, addresses, recipe ideas, school contacts. Nothing to do, just to keep.

When to use this

Use a task when:

  • "Order new shoes for Sam."
  • "Email teacher back about excursion."
  • "Pay the after-school care invoice."

Use a note when:

  • The pediatrician's address.
  • A quote from a parenting podcast.
  • A list of birthday gift ideas.
  • A school's pick-up routine you want to remember.

How it works

  1. Tasks: open In Your Head (the brain icon in the bottom nav). Use quick-add or voice. Add a date later if needed.
  2. Notes: open Notes (also reachable as "Still in your head"). Use the quick-add bar. Recolour, share, or delete as needed.

Important things to know

  • Notes never trigger reminders.
  • Notes can be shared with household members so the family has a single set of references.
  • Both surfaces are reachable from the floating + button when you're on those screens.

Common questions

  • Can I move a note to a task? Yes — open it, add a date, and it becomes scheduled.
  • Where do completed tasks go? Archive — restorable anytime.
