The two fastest ways to capture a thought.
What this does
- Typing — for when you have your hands free and a couple of seconds.
- Voice — for when you don't. Hold the mic and talk.
When to use this
- "Tomorrow morning before 9, swimming bag for Sam."
- A passing thought while you're cooking, walking, or driving.
- Brain dumps at the end of the day.
How it works
Typing
- Tap + → Type.
- Write naturally. You don't need to format anything — Bubsby reads the meaning.
- Tap Continue.
Voice
- Tap + → Voice.
- Hold the mic button while you speak.
- Release. Your words appear as text — edit if needed.
- Tap Continue.
After either, you'll see the review screen with date, who it's for, and a suggested reminder. Confirm to save.
Important things to know
- Voice uses your phone's normal speech-to-text — same accuracy as messaging apps.
- iPhone may ask for microphone permission the first time.
- You can edit the transcript before saving — Bubsby never sends the audio anywhere once it's been turned into text.
Common questions
- Can I capture multiple things in one go? Yes — say or type them all. Bubsby splits them on the review screen if it sees more than one.
- What if voice picks up the wrong word? Just edit the text before tapping Continue.
